The innovative concept for Medical First New York,to provide a broad array of exceptional healthcare services, is built on extensive marketplace research identifying the needs and opportunities to best serve the Manhattan community.

As physicians, we are very aware of the challenges in providing quality,efficient healthcare services against the time-consuming obstacles and resulting frustration experienced by patients and their physicians in large medical centers.

Acting on our findings,we began to develop a concept for a flexible, nimble, leading-edge medical facility rooted in the latest developments in digital medicine with the centerpiece qualities of efficiency and convenience, designed to serve the best interests of a productive physician-patient relationship.

The result is Medical First New York, a state-of-the-art medical services model in sync with a dynamic healthcare marketplace.
 

Rose Marie Phillip, MD

Rose Marie Phillip, M.D. is a founding principal and owner of Medical First New York, a Manhattan-based, technology focused, multi-specialty, out-patient general surgical facility serving physicians and their patients. Dr. Phillip is a practicing anesthesiologist since 1992 with clinical appointments in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Staten Island, New York.

A licensed, board certified anesthesiologist, Dr. Phillip completed medical school in 1991 at New York Medical College, Valhalla, NY. Dr. Phillip accepted an internship (’91–’92) at St. Vincent’s Hospital, New York and completed residency requirements in Anesthesiology (’92–’95) at SUNY, Down State Medical Center, Brooklyn, New York. Dr. Phillip became Board Certified in Anesthesiology in 1997.

Dr. Phillip graduated Cum Laude with a BS from Medgar Evers College of the City University of New York, Brooklyn, New York in 1986. Her academic honors at Medgar Evers College include: National Deans List; Merly Evers Award, Academic Excellence, 1986.

Varuzhan Dovlatyan, MD

Dr. Dovlatyan, together with Dr. Phillip, is a founding principal and owner of Medical First New York. Dr. Dovlatyan is a practicing anesthesiologist since 1997 with clinical appointments in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Staten Island, New York.

A licensed, board certified anesthesiologist, Dr. Dovlatyan completed medical school in 1974 at Yerevan State Medical Institute, Yerevan, Armenia. He completed internship and residency requirements in 1975 at Malatya Clinical Hospital in Yerevan, Armenia.

Dr. Dovlatyan’s current medical memberships include: American Society of Anesthesiologists and New York State Society of Anesthesiologists.
